Application

Indoor acoustics often suffer from problems in the low frequencies.

The panels are perfect for improving the acoustics of a recording studio, control room, rehearsal rooms, offices, call-center rooms, conference rooms, clubs, kindergartens, shopping malls and other more intimate rooms such as home cinemas, listening rooms. For better readability, dynamics and quality of music and any kind of sound, they reduce reverberation and rumble.

In small rooms, one or two well-chosen systems can significantly change the acoustics of the room.

Use / Cleaning

Hard and soft acoustic panels can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner, using a brush attachment.

Assembly tip

1D 7N QRD diffusers are excellent acoustic panels used to improve interior acoustics. The method of assembling QRD 1D 7N acoustic structures is independent of their dimensions and series and consists in placing (vertically or horizontally) on previously prepared wall mounting pins.

We advise you on how to fix the acoustic panel on the wall so that it can fulfill its function and also look nice. all our bodies are with invisible fixing holes.

Step I – Determining the place of attachment of the system

Mark the mounting height on the wall – it is best to mark the centre of the panel. This amount depends only on our preferences.

Step II – measuring the spacing of mounting holes

We measure the spacing of the mounting holes on the rear side of the system.

Step III – Marking the place of mounting the handles

We mark the spacing on the wall. Thus, we have predetermined places for mounting the panel pins (handles).

Step IV – Checking the level

We use a spirit level to check whether the marked places are on the same level, and if necessary, we make a correction.

Step IV – Drilling holes

We drill holes. The diameter of the drill is selected according to the diameter of the expansion plug. When the wall is made of a hard material (e.g. concrete), we use a hammer drill. The help of a second person, who immediately collects the dust created during drilling with a vacuum cleaner, will be useful.

Step V – Inserting the dowels

Insert the expansion plug and then screw in the bolt.

Step IV – Suspending the acoustic panel with pegs

We put the system on the mounting pins, trying to hit both pins at the same time.

Step IV – Done!

To be sure, you can check again whether the system hangs evenly. If so, you can enjoy the room’s improved acoustics.

Remarks

When installing the product, the rules and regulations of occupational health and safety as well as the applicable provisions of the construction law must be observed. And: in case of fire, extinguish: with water, CO2 foam or dry extinguishing agents, the product is sterile after manufacture; in the event of contact of foam particles with the eyes – rinse the eye with water to remove foam particles, when cutting, take precautionary measures (protective clothing, mask, glasses), in case of contact with the skin, rinse with soap and water, in the event of contact of foam particles with the eyes, rinse the eye with running water, the product should not be exposed to sources of heat, high temperature above 85 o C, open fire, smoke, protect against flooding with water, strong acids and bases, petroleum products and its derivatives.
