CS-300XS is equipped with SOVTEK Tube EL-84 which has been well known by audiophiles for its high sound quality against its small size.
A high input sensitivity of EL84 does not require a complicated circuit and accordingly, it can create a low distortion output signal.

The main difference between CS-300F and CS-300XS is the sound characteristics due to different output valves. The sound of CS300F is more modern and clear whereas and the sound of the CS-300XS is more valve-like (tube-like) / warmer, therefore a choice can be determined based on your own sound preference.
