Item Description
Isach Skeidsvoll (b.1996) is a pianist and composer originally from Molde, but based in Bergen, Norway. He works in the fields of jazz and improvised music. He is a member of bands such as General Post Office, Bear Brother and Sun & Steel. He has also worked with musicians such as Frode Gjerstad, Paal Nilssen Love and his brother Lauritz Skeidsvoll.
The Dance to Summon LP is the first record under his own name and contains his own compositions. The musicians on the record are some of Isach’s closest friends (two of them also being his brothers), and the music is composed with these creative individuals in mind. Energetic music in the realm of free jazz and beyond, with a tonal and groovy core.
